Business Experience

The nature of my work allows me to engage with a wide variety of people and in different capacities. Over the years, I have developed a unique understanding of how people think, what motivates people, and how to communicate with people in a way that often leads to positive outcomes.

I live with integrity to my own set of personal values, which include; honesty, transparency, fairness, and inclusion. I operate ethically and always strive to make the decisions based on logic and morality. This makes me a highly effective negotiator and able to often change the minds of people who begin in disagreement.

My first experience helping the business community as a whole was canvassing to help form the Kanata North BIA, now one of the largest BIA's in the area.

I am an active member of the Ottawa Board of Trade, formerly the West Ottawa Chamber of Commerce. I have also more recently become a member of the Brockville Chamber of Commerce and the North Grenville Chamber of Commerce.

I have established many successful business networking groups, including Business Networking International chapters.

I recently joined the organization, RISE, which provides 'mirco-loans' at low interest and business advisors to help people recovering from mental illness start their own business. I will be providing business mentoring, helping ensure the businesses are positioned to succeed and repay the loans.
