PROVINCIAL RELATIONS

Municipalities should have the final say on how their communities get developed. I pledge to work with the provincial government to limit the overreaching use of Ministerial Zoning Orders

Advocate to the provincial government the need for more community health services and increased funding to existing health services

Work with the provincial government to identify solutions to our housing affordability and advocate to immediately begin implementing changes

FEDERAL RELATIONS

Municipalities are created and governed by the Provincial Government, however; there are some instances where advocating the federal government may be needed

Telecommunications Infrastructure - Work with federal government to ensure all placements of our expanded telecommunications infrastructure are in locations with least ecological impact

Postage Service - Placement of community mailboxes on municipal property is decided by the Federal Government. If needed, I will advocate for the municipalities rights to decide how our community is developed, including community mailboxes
